“Urdu Universe’’ is an online Urdu quarterly literary, research, critical academic, social and informational journal. The main objective of this online Urdu journal is the survival of Urdu. Keeping in mind the exchange of views of the Editorial Board and the Consultative Council, it has been decided to encourage new writing Urdu students and scholars. The number of students studying Urdu in universities is decreasing day by day. Therefore, a corner has been allocated to publish the works of Urdu students and research scholars related to Urdu literature from all over India, so that the literary, research and critical trend can be increased in them. One of the objectives of this journal is to fill the gap of quality online Urdu journal in South India especially Deccan. A corner has also been reserved for Urdu experts, writers, critics and teachers. Apart from this, a corner has also been reserved for writers from foreign countries. It has become a mandatory part, so digital format has been chosen instead of print issue, so that this magazine can be in reach of every Urdu scholar.
